My approach is strength-based and trauma-informed, using CBT, DBT, person-centered therapy, and play therapy, along with mindfulness and fitness-informed strategies to support overall well-being.

I work with adults (18+) who feel out of place, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves, including those who are neurodivergent, trauma-impacted, or struggling to fit into systems that don’t feel built for them. Using Internal Family Systems (IFS), I help clients understand protective patterns, reconnect with their core self, and move toward greater self-acceptance and healing.

As the Scheduling Coordinator at Fircrest Behavioral Health, I support new clients in finding the right provider and ensuring a smooth start to therapy. With a background in nonprofit work, small business ownership, and parenting, I bring compassion, organization, and a personal touch to each conversation, making sure every individual feels seen and supported.

I also offer neurofeedback as a personalized brain-training tool to support improved focus, stress regulation, and overall mental clarity.

Neurofeedback Technician
I help individuals struggling with anxiety, migraines, sensory processing challenges, sleep issues, and trauma find relief and healing through neurofeedback. Using EEG-based brain training, I help clients retrain brain patterns to support improved sleep, reduced anxiety, clearer thinking, and better emotional regulation in a supportive, encouraging environment.

Community Outreach Coordinator
While offering individual coaching, mentoring, Family Consulting, and brainspotting in my private practice, Kathryn Fitzgerald Coaching, I also have the joy of working with Fircrest Behavioral Health to offer support for our clinicians, scheduling assistance for the general public, and facilitating community education, skills groups, and support groups through school contracts.
