Contracting Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate
Tired. Overwhelmed. Frustrated. Alone.
Life can be hard, but you’re used to that. You’re good at adapting and “making it work.” Maybe you’ve learned how to make the best of things. Maybe you’ve learned how to push through.
But lately something is different. Life is too out of control, too chaotic, too overwhelming. You see it in your relationships, your stress level, your anxiety… and you’re tired. Or, maybe nothing has changed— it’s always been this way. But it’s not working anymore. Something is missing and you’re looking for change.
Evening and Weekend appointment options available.
I’ll help you find it.
I work with clients who describe themselves as independent and self-sufficient. The people who are great at taking care of others, managing hard situations, and pushing past that line where there is no more. Sometimes people bring really big emotions; other times people wonder if they even have emotions. Either way, there’s a feeling of disconnection and distance from others.
Like a part of you has to be held back.
I come with a straightforward approach (ie, blunt) and tend to think outside the box. I like to work collaboratively— I’ll bring my expertise to help give guidance and insight; you’ll bring your expertise on what works for you and what doesn’t. We’ll talk, we’ll laugh, and together we’ll find the calm and clarity you’re needing.
For couples, I use Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy, one of the top therapy approaches for long-lasting, positive outcomes. We'll focus on strengthening your relationship bonds and building a real, felt connection with your partner.
Whether I’m doing couple or individual counseling, I follow the clues found in your thoughts, emotions and body’s signals to tailor the therapy for your goals.
Together, I’ll help you find that feeling of connection.

A Little About Me...
My two favorite things are learning and laughing. You’ll usually find me forcing one or the other of these on family and friends. I love exploring spiritual and philosophical topics, or reading old British detective novels. Self-care is a must have; my current favorites are getting lost in nature, road trips, and training my puppy.

You might be eligible for partial reimbursement from your insurance, though in most cases a mental health diagnosis is required. Please contact your insurance company directly to inquire about your out-of-network benefits. I'm more than happy to provide a superbill to help with your claim.

Individual Counseling
Individual Counseling is where people come to solve problems, grow, and change their lives in the direction that they think is best for them and their families. When people are stuck and they don't know how to stop certain behaviors, counseling can provide the skills they need to get them where they want to go in life.

Couples Counseling
Couples counseling is a supportive, research-informed approach designed to help you and your partner feel more connected and understood. Using Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy, we focus on strengthening your bond and creating a deeper, more secure emotional connection. The goal isn’t just to solve problems—but to build a relationship that feels safe, steady, and fulfilling.
