Sarah Hart, M.A.
Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate, Contracted
Sarah graduated in 2018 from George Fox University, in Newberg, Oregon, with a masters degree in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling.
After graduating, Sarah began working as a Child and Family Therapist at Family Solutions - an agency based in Vancouver, Washington that is dedicated to providing mental health services to children, adolescents, and families in underserved communities. During this time Sarah provided individual and family counseling to children, adolescents, and their caregivers. She was also able to utilize the play therapy skills she had learned in school, working with children as young as 3 years old. Additionally, she was a co-creator of a therapeutic preschool program in which Family Solutions partnered with Evergreen School District to provide mental health support and psychoeducation to preschool students, parents, teachers, and other school staff.
Sarah works with individuals and families of all ages, and offers both talk and non-verbal expressive therapies, including sand tray therapy and play therapy. Sarah also offers a parenting class called Child-Parent Relationship Therapy, where parents learn skills for responding to their child's behaviors that will help strengthen and build security in the child-parent relationship.
Sarah enjoys spending her free time with friends, swing dancing, rock climbing, playing board games, puzzling, cooking, and reading.
