Contracted Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate
Do you want to change your story? Are you suffering from unresolved trauma, anxiety, conflicts in your relationships and with family? I want to help you reconnect with yourself and others.
I focus on meeting people where they are at. I utilize a trauma informed, strengths-based and client centered approach to therapy. I believe that everything a person does, MAKES SENSE in the context of their life experiences.
I work with individuals, couples, and families on a wide range of mental health concerns including: first responder/military trauma & reintegration, teen mental health issues, anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, post-traumatic stress, women’s & perinatal issues, marriage counseling, infidelity, codependency, bipolar disorder, parenting, domestic abuse, conflict resolution, divorce, grief/loss, and substance use issues.
I’m Kimber and I use an Eclectic Approach to therapy taking what works and leaving the rest from models such as: Trauma-Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Relational Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Client-Centered Therapy, Somatic Experiencing, and Relational-Life Therapy. It really depends on the client and what they find most beneficial for their recovery.
Client focus: Adults, Teens, Couples, Families and First Responders
Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling: Bushnell University
Bachelor of Science in Psychology: University of Oregon
A Little About Me…
Prior to becoming a mental health therapist, I worked as an EMT first responder.
I enjoy spending time with my son, husband, our dogs and close friends. I love game nights, meditating, long distance running, reading and anything that makes me laugh. I value learning new things and the outdoors!

Individual Counseling is where people come to solve problems, grow, and change their lives in the direction that they think is best for them and their families. When people are stuck and they don't know how to stop certain behaviors, counseling can provide the skills they need to get them where they want to go in life.
